Hi, I'm Michelle Cochran. a fine art portrait and event photographer based in Bryson City, North Carolina. My studio is nestled near the Great Smoky Mountains at 1 River St, Suite 6 where I specialize in creating timeless, dark and moody imagery that captures emotion and tells each client's unique story.

My journey with photography began in 1994 as a student, and since then, it's grown into both a passion and lifelong craft. I've had the privilege of apprenticing under several renowned photographers and to continue to refine my work as a proud member of the Professional Photographers of America.

Whether it's photographing studio portraits, seniors on the brink of new adventures, or the energy of live events, my goal is always the same: to capture the emotion, nuance, and the authenticity that define you. I also travel for outdoor sessions and events, bringing my camera (and eye for detail) wherever your story unfolds.

Outside of photography, I'm a proud mom to two amazing daughters, a doting Mimi, and a dog lover with four furry companions who keep life full of joy.
